Finance
The Government has introduced a Transparency Code for local councils and smaller authorities, with a turnover not exceeding £25,000. Hernhill Parish Council fits into this category and will publish annually, no later than 1st July each year, various items of financial information as required by the Code.

Planning
Swale Borough Council consult the Parish Council on many planning applications. The Parish Council then discuss these application at their meetings and advise Swale Borough Council of their comments. Planning applications are also available to view via the planning portal pa.midkent.gov.uk.
