Church Hill - Road Closure

(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)

TEMPORARY ORDER 2018

To allow various telecoms cabling and ducting works to be carried out,Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Hill, Hernhill, near Faversham. A closure is planned from Monday 20 August 2018, with estimated completion by 31 August 2018.Church Hill will be closed at various locations at its northern end, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.The alternative route for any through traffic is via Church Hill, StapleStreet, Staple Street Road, Whitstable Road, A299 Thanet Way,Kemsdale Road and Fostall .Due to the nature of the works, the road will need to remain closed outside the working hours.
